Everton Football Club hope to lure Djibril Cisse back to Merseyside.

The former Liverpool striker is back in the Premier League with Sunderland, where he has been on loan for the 2008/09 season.

Marseille are willing to let the France international leave on a permanent basis in the summer, and the Black Cats are certainly interested in this option.

However, reports suggest David Moyes is keen to take Cisse back to Merseyside, and will offer £8million for the former Anfield star.
