Sean Davis admits the departure of Tony Adams has only increased his uncertainty at Portsmouth Football Club.

The midfielder is out of contract in the summer, and the club’s decision to axe Adams has hardly helped his case to secure a new deal at Fratton Park.

"He wanted to offer me a new contract but we hadn't agreed anything and now that he's gone it feels like I am back at square one,” said Davis.

"It's been the same for about 15 months and I'm still a bit upset that nothing has been sorted out but, hopefully, I will keep my form and help us stay up."
