League One: Adams out as Foxes make history
09:55 PM 21 February, 2009
Brighton & Hove Albion were 1-0 winners at Millwall on Saturday, in the wake of manager Micky Adams leaving the club.

Chairman Dick Knight had told the club's website at lunchtime: "I am very sad, as all Albion fans will be, that things have not worked out."

Adams' former club Leicester City meanwhile march on at the top, Matty Fryatt making it 20 games unbeaten for the Foxes with the winner at Bristol Rovers.

Keeper Mark Bunn saved a penalty on his debut for the league leaders, who also survived a sending-off.

poor Micky Adams---albions loss. OK results did not go his way and managers are paid to get results but a superb manager---where do Albion go from here--what 'quality' manager can they attract. Who would want to manage a team playing on a glorified recreation ground! Good luck anyway and we will always support you.
