Roberto Di Matteo has revealed his disappointment at losing Keith Andrews to Blackburn Rovers Football Club on the August transfer deadline.

The former Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder followed Paul Ince from MK Dons to Ewood Park, much to the disappointment of the ex-Italian international and Chelsea star.

"I knew from day one that he was going to Blackburn, but the way that it happened was a bit disappointing, how he left just before the transfer window shut," Di Matteo told Sky Sports.

"That didn't give me the time nor the money to spend on other players, so that wasn't great for me. I wish him good luck because it was a dream move for him."
