Clement blow for West Bromwich Albion
07:30 PM 25 September, 2008
Neil Clement will not play for West Bromwich Albion Football Club again this year.

The defender picked up a knee injury during pre-season, and he has now been forced to undergo an operation which will see him sidelined until January at the earliest.

"Neil had an operation yesterday on his knee, which will put him out for quite a while,” confirmed Baggies boss Tony Mowbray. "I won't sit here and tell you how many months exactly.

“I would suggest it will be the New Year, although I would not like to set that in stone because I am not a medical person. It is not like it is a recurring injury and we wish him a speedy recover."
