Sibierski eager for Wigan Athletic chance
Forgotten man Antoine Sibierski is eager to be given the chance to prove his worth to Wigan Athletic Football Club.
The Frenchman spent part of the season at Norwich City, but he is back at the JJB Stadium and played 15 minutes in the goalless draw with Middlesbrough.
Sibierski is out of contract in the summer, but he hopes he will be given more opportunities to prove he can still compete in the Premier League.
"We have a few injuries and it was because of them I probably got back into the squad for the Boro game,” he told the Manchester Evening News.
"I always believe, if I got given a chance again, I could play a part. I enjoy being back. I got the ball at my feet and tried to play some good football."
