Scott Carson believes West Bromwich Albion can bear Everton or Arsenal.

The Premier League’s basement side travel to Goodison Park and the Emirates Stadium in their next two games on the road.

And whilst they will be huge underdogs for both fixtures, Carson believes he and his team-mates are capable of upsetting the odds.

"It's going to be a massive few days meeting Everton away and Arsenal at home. In our current position it couldn't be any tougher," said Carson.

"Going to Goodison is always difficult while Arsenal are always a great side. We have to look after our own game and hopefully win one of the matches.

"We were disappointed with the 2-0 defeat at Fulham last Sunday but now we have to look forward and cannot afford to dwell on past performances."
