Marton Fulop is delighted to sign a new deal at Sunderland Football Club.

The Hungarian goalkeeper has started 20 of the Black Cats last 22 games, currently keeping £9million signing Craig Gordon out of the side.

Fulop has now been rewarded for his performances with a deal which keeps him at the Stadium of Light until the summer of 2012.

"I am delighted to sign,” he said.

“I am pleased with the progress the club has made and I am delighted that I got my chance in the team. I am happy to commit."
