Jose Enrique is proud to reach 50 appearances for Newcastle United.

The Spanish defender will reach the personal milestone against Bolton Wanderers on Sunday, but he would swap the honour for three points.

"It's good for me to reach this tally of 50 games," Enrique told the Newcastle Chronicle. "But in two years I feel I should have played more.

“I want to play much more in the future, but 50 is a good number. I'm happy to reach it but I would be even happier to get the three points."
