Tottenham Hotspur ace slams £17million Serie A link
12:00 PM 04 March, 2009
Luka Modric insists he is not looking to leave Tottenham Hotspur Football Club.

The Croatian international playmaker only moved to White Hart Lane in the summer, when the Londoners paid around £17million to take him from Dinamo Zagreb.

However, it has been reported that Harry Redknapp is looking to offload him after just twelve months, with Juventus said to be willing to give them their money back.

Modric, though, has slammed suggestions he could be heading to Italy, and suggests he is more than happy with life in England at Tottenham.

"Let's stop talking about this," he told Sportske Novosti about the latest round of transfer reports. I've only just arrived in Tottenham.

"We have a quality team and this is a great club. I want the season to finish with more satisfaction for our faithful supporters because their commitment is unique."
