Sam Allardyce reckons his Blackburn Rovers squad has more talent than any of his previous Bolton Wanderers squads.

Allardyce built some committed sides during his lengthy spell in charge at the Reebok Stadium, yet he feels none are as talented as his current crop at Ewood Park.

"The difference here is they have got the talent, which is no disrespect to my Bolton Wanderers side in the first year or so,” he told Sky Sports.

"They didn't have as much talent as this squad, but we had great work ethic, great team spirit and really good organisation. That allowed us to eventually get out of that position.

“The Bolton side then grew into a very good all-round team, contrary to the reputation we got. These lads (at Blackburn) have got talent but have just let it be misguided on occasions.

"I think pulling it together with organisation, passion and team spirit allows the ability to come out more. Ultimately in the end, it will hopefully get us more victories."
