Fabio Aurelio expects Liverpool Football Club to edge Real Madrid out of Europe on Tuesday night, due largely to the influence of Rafael Benitez.

The Reds welcome the Spanish giants to Anfield on Tuesday on the back of a 1-0 win at the Bernabeu, and Aurelio expects them to finish the job on Merseyside.

"Rafa has the knack of winning these games. He knows a lot about the strengths and weaknesses of any team,” said the Brazilian defender.

"He will have been planning for this game for many days, so that when we arrive for the match we will know exactly what our jobs will be.

"And we will know how we can hurt the opposition. He is one of the best managers around in this competition. He seems always to be in the last stages.”
