Digard admits Middlesbrough defeat
09:00 PM 09 March, 2009
Didier Digard admits he won’t play for Middlesbrough again this season.

The French midfielder picked up knee and groin injuries following a crunching tackle by Wigan Athletic star Lee Cattermole last month.

And now the 22-year-old admits he will not recover in time to figure for Boro as they look to avoid relegation from the Premier League.

"My season is over," Digard told Le 10 Sport. "If I resume before the summer, it will only be to take part in training sessions.

"I don't want to make the same mistakes as I did in Paris. Last season I came back too early and had a relapse. At Boro, the officials have given me carte blanche over my rehabilitation. I don't feel the same pressure I felt at PSG."
