Guus Hiddink accepts Chelsea Football Club will need a slice of fortune to win the UEFA Champions League.
The Dutch coach is confident last season’s beaten finalists can go all the way this season, but he also insists that every team needs that little bit of luck at times.
"At this level, teams are dead tight," said Hiddink. "It can drop either way. But if you have big players, as those teams and we have, it would be fantastic to go all the way.
"We are good enough to compete but that's not a guarantee. If I could give a guarantee, that would be perfect. But it's a man's game.
“We need a little bit of fortune, also."
The Blues face Juventus in Italy on Tuesday night, with a slight 1-0 lead over Claudio Ranieri’s men earned at Stamford Bridge a fortnight ago.
