Olsson impact pleases West Bromwich Albion
07:30 PM 28 September, 2008
West Bromwich Albion Football Club boss Tony Mowbray has been impressed with Jonas Olsson.

The Swedish international arrived at the Hawthorns on deadline day for just £800,000, and Mowbray believes the match-winner against Middlesbrough could develop into a real player.

"I'm not sure how many of his passes set us on our way but he brings that to us. If he puts his body on the line for the team like he did and fights his corner, we'll have a good player," said Mowbray.

"He's still got to develop his upper body strength and his heading. He's come from Dutch football where it's all about pass, pass, pass. He's better than some of our midfielders with his decision-making."
