James Morrison has told West Bromwich Albion they must improve defensively.

The Baggies are in deep trouble at the foot of the Premier League, and Morrison believes their luck will only change with a better defensive record.

"We did a lot of defensive work when we were out in Spain recently but, if you don't take it into the matches, it doesn't count for much,” he said.

"To be fair, we've been working on it for months because it's been the biggest problem this year. I'm sick of talking about it. That's why we're bottom.

“With only 10 games to go the pressure is on. It's not nice for anyone, especially the fans, and it's difficult to play at the moment because of the position we are in.

"But we've got to deal with it."
