Former Northern Ireland manager Lawrie Sanchez believes the Bantams have pulled off a coup by signing veteran winger Keith Gillespie.

"I think it's a very positive move," Sanchez told the Telegraph & Argus after the former Sheffield United man signed a deal with the League Two promotion chasers.

"The Bradford strikers will be pleased, certainly Thorney (Peter Thorne) with his heading ability.

"Keith doesn't score many goals but he does provide an awful lot of opportunities for the centre forwards to finish."
