Harry Redknapp has revealed Patrice Evra could have signed for Portsmouth.
Whilst revealing he could have signed Didier Drogba for £3million, Redknapp has also revealed Manchester United star Evra could also have ended up at Pompey.
"I was after him (Drogba) about six years ago, when I was at Portsmouth. He played at Lyon, scored twice and I thought then he was top-drawer,” he told The Sun.
“But he was also £3million and that was too expensive. Around that time I was also looking at Patrice Evra but he went to Monaco."
Redknapp pulled off many memorable signings during his time at Fratton Park, before he left for Tottenham Hotspur earlier this season.
