Ramos could STILL rescue Real Madrid job
05:00 PM 14 March, 2009
Juande Ramos could still rescue his job at Real Madrid.

The former Tottenham Hotspur boss replaced Bernd Schuster at the Bernabeu earlier this season, and results in La Liga have been impressive.

But the 5-0 aggregate mauling at the hands of Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League is widely expected to have cost the Spaniard his job.

However, it is being reported that a clause in Ramos’s contract will see him remain in charge if a trophy is won this season, meaning La Liga success would save his job.

Real are six points behind Barcelona in the race for the title with twelve games remaining, with the two set to meet in the Spanish capital on May 3.
