Frank Lampard has hailed Chelsea Football Club boss Guus Hiddink.

The Dutchman has been superb for the Blues since replacing Luiz Felipe Scolari earlier this year, and Lampard has hailed his impact.

“He has something special. The new coach has given a boost to everyone. He commands respect but also has a certain aura,” said the midfielder.

“All the great coaches with whom I’ve worked give you fear and Hiddink is one of them. He is a great coach and has got great results in every job he has had.”

Many Blues fans still long for days of Jose ‘Special One’ Mourinho, but if Hiddink stays at Stamford Bridge, the glory days could well be on their way back.
