Veliche Shumulikoski of Ipswich claims his current club have blocked him from a loan switch to Deepdale.

The 27-year-old has fallen down the pecking order at Portman Road, but with Ipswich still harbouring play-off hopes, a move to one of their rivals is not in the cards.

“Yesterday they were supposed to accept the offer from Preston North End and I should have had my debut for them today," the midfielder was quoted on Saturday by the press in his homeland.

"But it wasn't allowed by the manager Magilton.

“I was angry and I couldn't stand it any more. I want to play in a team that has ambitions for promotion to the Premier League. My wish was Preston but Ipswich forces me to go to Watford or QPR."
