Sami Hyypia has labeled Liverpool’s week as the best he has known for eight years.

The Reds stuffed Real Madrid 4-0 on Tuesday night, before scoring another four goals to win at Manchester United 4-1 on Saturday afternoon.

"It's been a good week," said Hyypia.

"I was just asked if I've had a week like this before and I couldn't think of one since in 2001 when we won a few cups in one week."
