Higginbotham calls for Stoke City experience
Danny Higginbotham hopes Stoke City Football Club’s experienced players will lead the Britannia Stadium club to Premier League safety.
The Potters are in the bottom three of the top-flight by virtue of goal-difference, but Higginbotham remains confident they can avoid the drop.
"It [experience] is a big advantage and there are a lot of players in our dressing room that have a lot of experience in this,” he told The Sentinel.
"Hopefully we know what it takes to survive. We have given ourselves a great chance. Most people wouldn't have expected us to be in the position we are.
“Most people would have said we'd be cast adrift... on about three points judging by the way they were talking.
"But we have given ourselves a great chance, so it is important we really do kick on and, come the end of the season, are safe."
