Mamady Sidibe was disappointed to see David Kitson leave Stoke City.

The £5million summer signing has returned to Reading on loan after a disappointing spell at the Britannia Stadium, and Sidibe wishes his fellow striker well.

"I am disappointed for Dave because I think he's a really good player,” he told The Sentinel. “But when you're a striker you also need luck in front of goal.

"He was unlucky and is also not used to the way we play. Not everyone can get used to that. But he's gone and I hope everything goes well for him."
