Emmerson Boyce is the latest player to tip Titus Bramble for England.

Wigan Athletic boss Steve Bruce believes the former Newcastle United defender is playing the best football of his career, as does Chris Kirkland.

The Latics pair have tipped Bramble to force his way into Fabio Capello’s England squad, and now Boyce has added his weight to the issue.

“The guy has got everything you want from a centre-back. He can head the ball, he can pass and he is a great tackler,” he told Sky Sports.

"You look at the England squad now and he would probably think himself he might have a chance of getting in there.

"The England manager has been to a few of our games so you never know, come the end of the season he might get a call-up."
