Carson hails new West Bromwich Albion pairing
Scott Carson believes Jonas Olsson and Shelton Martis could yet help to keep West Bromwich Albion Football Club in the Premier League.
The Baggies are seven points adrift of safety following a 1-1 draw with Bolton Wanderers on Saturday, but Carson believes the pairing of Olsson and Martis can only help their cause.
“Jonas has made a difference, as has Shely," the goalkeeper told the club's official website. "They were very solid and I feel very confident playing behind them.
"When they kick it they kick it and when they head it they head it. Shelton and Jonas have clicked and maybe will be a successful partnership
"When you play behind the same back four every week then you know what to expect but we've had injuries and it's not been easy. There's nothing we can do about that."
