Tom Soares has returned to Stoke City Football Club.

The former Crystal Palace winger has made 11 appearances during a loan spell at Charlton Athletic, but Phil Parkinson has confirmed the player has returned to the Britannia Stadium.

"Tom did well for us but he's going to go back," the Addicks boss told the South London Press.

Soares only signed for City in the summer transfer window when he arrived from Selhurst Park, but he has so far failed to make an impression in Tony Pulis’ plans.
