Venables reveals Tottenham Hotspur blunder
Terry Venables believes Tottenham Hotspur Football Club made a huge blunder this summer.
The Londoners currently sit at the bottom of the Premier League table after six matches, with Juande Ramos’s men still looking for their first win of the new season.
And former Spurs manager Venables believes much of their woe can be put down to letting Robbie Keane and Dimitar Berbatov leave White Hart Lane before replacements were found.
"They thought they were going to get Andrei Arshavin," he told The Sun.
"This was a massive managerial blunder by Spurs, especially when they had allowed Keane to leave. But letting Berbatov and Keane go without having Arshavin in the bag was a boardroom blunder."
