Stoke City await news on crocked Sidibe
Stoke City Football Club continue to wait on news of Mamady Sidibe.
The Mali international picked up a knee injury in the warm-up prior to a reserve team match on Monday, and the Potters are waiting to discover the extent of the problem.
"We don't know whether it's torn or ruptured, but they think it might be the cruciate ligament,” said Sidibe. "If it's only a slight tear then I could be back before the end of the season, but if it's ruptured then it will be months.
"It doesn't feel too good, but we'll see what the next specialist says. They're thinking about putting a camera in there to see if what the damage is but if it's nothing then it will take three weeks to get over the operation."
