Hayden Mullins believes Portsmouth have too much quality to suffer relegation.

Pompey are in fifteenth place in the Premier League and just three points above the drop zone, but Mullins is confident they have too many good players to lose their top-flight status.

"We've got players who have played at the highest level for so long. They know what's required to win a game,” the midfield player told the official club website.

"There's so much experience in our squad and there are so many really good players here. It's a delicate position that we're in but I think we're good enough to pull away from danger.

"We've definitely got the quality to beat the drop but we can't be complacent. We're hanging above the drop zone and we need to get away from it as quickly as we can.

"It's a club that needs Premier League football and that's what we're trying our hardest to ensure. We're all in good spirits and focused on getting safe.

“Everybody's in the right frame of mind for the remaining games. Relegation would be awful but it's not something that we're thinking about. We're staying positive."
