£15million Aston Villa ace to replace Malouda at Chelsea?
01:15 PM 30 March, 2009
Chelsea Football Club have been linked with a stunning move for Ashley Young.

A report in the Mail on Sunday claims the Stamford Bridge club will make a move for the Aston Villa winger in the summer, who would replace Florent Malouda.

The France international has been a huge flop in England since his £13million move from Lyon in the summer of 2007, and the Blues are ready to offload him.

However, their chances of signing Young would appear to be slim; Martin O’Neill has shrugged off interest from Real Madrid all season, and he rates him much higher than £15million.

Whether he's worth it in the real world or not, Martin wont let him go for cheap and 15m is what I'd call cheap considering we paid 12m after addons. Chelsea don't have the money power they used to. So that makes this nonsense paper talk even more foolish

You honestly think Ashley Young will be sold for £15 million. With the homegrown ruling coming into force the season after, he'll be around the £40 million mark.... Chelsea dream on!!!
