Hull City Football Club are sweating over the fitness of Daniel Cousin.

The former Rangers man has missed the Tigers last two fixtures due to his back injury, and he is a major doubt for the weekend clash against Portsmouth at the KC Stadium.

"Daniel Cousin is still struggling with his back," Phil Brown told the Hull Daily Mail. "The grounds are getting harder and it's not doing him any favours.

"We'll give him time and assess him closer to the weekend."
