Rangers row: Weir pleased but disappointed
David Weir is the new captain of Rangers, a situation that leaves him with mixed feelings.
"Obviously, I'm pleased to be captain," said the 38-year-old, after Barry Ferguson's week of shame ended with him being stripped of the job and suspended for two weeks in addition to being told his international career is over.
"I've stepped in in the past when Barry hasn't been available," he added.
"But, obviously, I would rather Barry was the captain."
