Filipe Teixeira is on the verge of making a return for West Bromwich Albion Football Club.

The Portuguese midfielder suffered cruciate ligament damage in early March, but after coming through a reserve clash against West Ham United, Tony Mowbray is hoping to have him in the first team soon.

"Filipe is raring to go,” he told the Birmingham Mail. “He has trained with full contact for the last 10-11 days. He just needs to get some fitness which generally you get through playing matches.

"If he continues to work hard at his fitness levels, and gets another game or two under his belt, he should be back in the frame very quickly.”
