Benayoun believes Liverpool can edge past Blues
04:45 PM 13 April, 2009
Yossi Benayoun believes Liverpool Football Club can win at Stamford Bridge.

A 3-1 win at Anfield puts Chelsea well and truly in pole position for a place in the UEFA Champions League semi-final, but Benayoun insists the tie is not over just yet.

"We know it will be very difficult at Stamford Bridge. We'll just give 100 per cent and try our best,” he said.

"You never know in football - anything can happen."

We Liverpool fans are confident that we can repeat the istanbul heroics this time. Our team has proven throughout the season that we are experts in coming from behind. The Anfield match showed that our key players were exhausted especially Gerrard who has been rested this week for the Chelsea match.Besides, chelsea fans shouldn`t forget that they conceded 3 goals from a humble team like Bolton,so logically Liverpool can hit Chelsea by more especially in the absence of John Terry.more to say,a team which hit United by 4 at Old Trafford can do the same damage to Chelsea at their home as they did 2 times in the PL this season.Chelsea in fact have every reason in the world to be afraid of us.

It is possible for Liverpool to win 3-1 and then, and then, of that we cannot speak!
