Chelsea alerted to €8million Little Angel
12:00 PM 14 April, 2009
Chelsea Football Club are believed to be keeping tabs on Angel Di Maria.

Although Guus Hiddink will step down as manager of the Stamford Bridge club in the summer, he is still drawing up a list of potential signings for when the transfer window reopens.

And it is believed the Dutch coach has advised the Blues to make a move for Benfica’s 21-year-old winger Di Maria, nicknamed The Little Angel, who he believes could become as big a hit as his compatriot Arjen Robben.

The Argentine international is being widely tipped to leave the Portuguese giants in the summer, when they will hope to at least recoup the €8million they paid Rosario Central for his signature two years ago.

Di Maria is totally overrated. I see him week in week out and I can't remember the last time he did anything decent.

Boris I think they ment Guus Hiddink as Robben's compatriot. Although you are correct that the way it is worded makes it seem like he is an Argentine
