Panathinaikos want to take Djibril Cisse from Sunderland Football Club.

The France international is on a season-long loan deal at the Stadium of Light, but chairman Niall Quinn admits they may not be able to buy him permanently from Marseille.

And reports now suggest Greek giants Panathinaikos are looking to take Cisse when the transfer window reopens, with an offer of €8million likely to secure his signature.
