West Bromwich Albion will persist with Simpson
Tony Mowbray insists West Bromwich Albion will persist with Jay Simpson.
The young striker is on loan at the Hawthorns from Arsenal, and has recently upset the Baggies fans by revealing he is eager to return to the Gunners next season rather than extend his temporary stay.
"Does it (wanting to go back to Arsenal) make it any more difficult for him? No. Like with any player who comes on loan, we're not the parent club," said Mowbray.
"You utilise and use loan players as best you can for your club and nothing has changed as far as I am concerned with Jay Simpson."
